How to sew a wine bag (sewing pattern is not necessary)

Today’s handcrafted goods is “DIY wine bag".

Fabrics

Materials are the body fabric and handles.

Body fabric, 95cm by 25cm. (Seam allowances are included.)

For handles, 33cm by 6cm are 2. (Seam allowances are included.)

Make the body

Sew the edge of body fabric with zig zag stitch.
Then fold the fabric in half with right side together, and sew the side seams.

Press seam allowances open.

Make handles

Fold the fabrics in four, and sew the edge.

Fit handles

Fold the bag mouth in three (2cm wide).

When folding in three, it is recommended to use an sewing ruler for iron. The folds are neat and the finish is nicely.

Then sew the body and handles together.

Get the handles up and sew the edge of bag mouth.

Reinforce the base of handles with stitch.

Make gusset and sew

Make 12cm gusset, and sew.

Then cut the extra gusset, and sew the edge with zig zag stitch.

Sew corner, and finish

Turn the body fabric inside out, and sew the edge. (It is better to baste.)
